This app was built to hold on to as little as possible. Here is exactly how your sign-in and your statement are handled — and how your work-session clears itself.
In your browser
Your statement or screenshot is opened and read on your own device — the file never leaves it. Sensitive numbers are masked before the explanation is shown, and the results never leave your tab.
At the AI service
Only the text read from your document is sent on to write the explanation — never the file itself. It goes to a major provider's business API (OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic), which under their API terms does not train on it, and nothing is stored on a server afterward.
On a timer
Your sign-in is a temporary work-session — it clears itself automatically within 24 hours. Because we do not store your statement or analysis results, this is not a data purge; it is the session workspace being cleared. You never have to lift a finger.
On your terms
Done and don't want to wait? You can clear your session and sign out instantly from the site footer — “Clear session & sign out”.
The details, plainly
- To use this app you sign in with Google or Apple. We use sign-in only to confirm you are a real person and to protect the service from abuse — not to build a profile of you. We never see or store your Google or Apple password; sign-in is handled entirely by the provider.
- The text sent onward is what was printed on the page, so if your document shows an account number, that number is part of the text the provider receives. Nothing is stored as a file, and no document history is kept.
- Before your explanation is shown, the app masks full account numbers, Social Security numbers, routing numbers, and other long identifiers. Only the last four digits may be kept when clearly useful.
- The app does not sell uploaded document data and does not use uploaded statements for advertising.
- There are no bank connections and no saved statement history.
- Statement contents are never written into application logs or error reports.
- Please redact anything in your document that you do not want processed.
